In summer
In a matter of minutes, our Hospizbahn brings hikers from the Grimsel Hospiz down to Sommerloch at the foot of the Grimsel dam and to the hiking routes leading towards the Räterichsbodensee reservoir and Lake Grimsel.
Please note: The Spitallamm dam is closed to hikers until 2025 due to major construction works. The Lauteraarhütte can be reached from Grimsel Hospiz with the Hospizbahn via Sommerloch and Juchliweg.
In winter
Following the trip through the tunnels on the Hospizbahn, the last leg of the adventurous trip to the winter oasis leads directly to the doorstep of the Historic Alpine Hotel Grimsel Hospiz. This is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased online, at the Tourist Center Grimseltor in Innertkirchen, at reception of the Hotel Grimsel Hospiz and at the ticket machines at the Visitor Centre at the Grimsel Hospiz and at the Hospizbahn base station.
Accepted means of payment the ticket machines on site: EC and credit cards, REKA and Postcard, Twint.
Subsequent amendments, exchanges or refunds of the purchase price are not permitted.
Location & Getting there
The top station is located at the Grimsel Hospiz.
The base station is locates at Summerloch.
The Grimsel Hsopiz is accessible by bus and car.

Dogs are permitted on the Sidelhornbahn and travel free of charge.

No vehicles, aircraft or water sports equipment are transported on the Oberaarbahn.
