Gelmerstube and Handeckstube

The lovingly designed rooms at Hotel Handeck make guests feel right at home. Fine dishes made from regional ingredients are served either in the rustic Gelmerstube where the wood beams have darkened with age, or in the elegant Handeckstube with its fine white tablecloths. Whether delicious à la carte meals or simple snacks of “Chäs u Brot” (cheese and bread) from the Handegg – you are sure to find the perfect accompaniment in our cellar featuring selected wines.

Terrace

While some take the plunge (literally), others can stand back and watch.
Our terrace has a wonderful view of the Gelmerbahn – Europe’s steepest passenger funicular railway.

Wine cellar

Our wine cellar is small but perfectly formed, with a range of wines that have been selected with great care. Before sitting down at your table, you can enjoy an aperitif and explore this wonderful hideaway for yourself together with your closest friends.
