Hike up to the Lauteraarhütte

The attractive route to the Lauteraarhütte SAC takes you from the Sommerloch up to Juchli, then along the lake over narrow paths blasted into the rock, through high moors and flower meadows interspersed with stone pines to the accretion zone at the foot of the glacier. The second part of the trail leads through the interesting area of the Unteraar glacier – the source of the Aare – and finally up to the rock spur to the hut in the high-alpine area.
